Deborah Lemmen,
Interim Director of Development and Communications

Deborah Lemmen came to New City in 2008. She served as the After School Center Director for three and a half years and has now transitioned into the position of Interim Development and Communications Director. Deborah is passionate about helping New City be a place where children, youth and their families feel safe, loved and encouraged. She's excited about the vibrancy, life and energy that is so apparent at New City.

Deborah loves living in Jersey City and the opportunity to be a part of young people's lives. In addition to her position at New City, Deborah is a graduate student at Columbia University's School of Social Work, specializing in Children, Youth, and Family services.
